APC calls on President Jonathan to cancel political rallies

The All Progressives Congress APC has urged President Goodluck Jonathan to cancel all political rallies being planned for him across the country until the 200 missing schoolgirls are found.

A statement signed by APC national publicity secretary Lai Mohammed said President Jonathan should not repeat the same mistake of embarking on campaign rallies as he did shortly after the Nyanya bomb incident.
The APC stated that though it is not asking government to shut down, but the President should desist from engaging in all celebratory public outings and all campaigns until the missing schoolgirls are found and safely returned to their families.
