No regret resigning as Imo APC chairman-Okaforanyawu

Immediate past interim chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, Prince Marshall Okaforanyanwu, yesterday said he does not regret resigning as APC chairman in the state.
Speaking with Daily Trust in Owerri, the former chairman said he has concluded
contact with the leadership of the party he wants to join, adding that at the appropriate time and date, he would make it public.
Okaforanyanwu insisted that he was moving out of APC with 200,000 members across the state to the new party with a view to correcting what he described as anomalies in APC.
He said that as former chairman he operated under difficult environment occasioned by undue government interference, unfulfilled promises and starvation of fund saying he had endured it until he left the party.
The former chairman pointed out the absolute disrespect and neglect of APC, a situation where members of the party are made to operate under directives of the chief of staff to the governor, describing it as lack of regard for party constitution and guidelines.
