Nineteen pro-Governor Rabiu kwankwaso groups have merged to support the gubernatorial aspiration of Rep. Kawu Sumaila.
Declaring their solidarity yesterday,
chairman of the coalition tagged ‘Kawuya Sumailiyya forum’, Fa’izu
Alfindiki ,said they decided to rally round Kawu Sumaila
and to support
his gubernatorial quest due his leadership qualities.“We are supporting Kawu’s quest for Kano State governorship because of his leadership quality which made him stand out from the other candidates. He is young, educated both in Islamic and Western education and has been assisting Kao people since he started as a member of the national assembly,” he said.
Alfindiki said among all those that were showing interest in running for the governor’s seat, Sumaila was the most suitable who is capable of continuing with Kwankwaso’s many projects.
He therefore called on Governor Kwankwaso to endorse their candidate for the continuity of the Kwankwasiyya ideology and work.
“I’m calling on Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to endorse Kawu Sumaila for us. He is the most competent among all the other candidates. He is young and highly experienced for the job and he will continue with the good works you have started in Kano.”
