PDP constitutes 27-man reconciliation committee in Osun

Osun State chapter of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted a 27-man reconciliatory committee saddled with the responsibility of resolving all grievances among members of the party ahead of the August 9, governorship election in the state.
Chairman of the party, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa, announced the names of members of the reconciliatory committee at the reconciliatory rally organised by the party at its secretariat
in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun, a member of the PDP Board of Trustees emerged chairman of the reconciliatory committee while the three former governorship aspirants of the party, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, Hon Busayo Oluwole-Oke and Senator Olasunkanmi Akinlabi were among members of the committee.
Olaoluwa urged the committee to look into all matters arising before, during and after the party’s primary election where Senator Iyiola Omisore emerged as the candidate of the party for the election.
In his acceptance speech, Oyedokun assured that those in the committee would use their wealth of experience to foster unity among members of the PDP in the state.
“It is our collective responsibility to see to the fact that we bring all our brothers and sisters back into the fold well before the election,” he said.
