Volkswagen car to the APC Fan Club on behalf of the former interim
chairman of the party, Barrister Inuwa Abdulkadir
He said the exercise was like building a castle in the air, adding “ it is an exercise in futility.”
Aliyu stated:”It is a dead party which lost relevance ever since Governor Wamakko left it for All Progressive Congress. It was the governor who brought it to the limelight and since he left PDP, the party is battling with dwindling fortunes in the state.”
Reacting to the recent interview by Senator Ahmed Maccido in which he said that PDP would reclaim the governorship seat in the state in 2015, Aliyu wondered with which followership the PDP would do that.
“It has no ground, no followership in Sokoto. This is why I believe that their registration exercise is a waste of resources because you hardly see any noticeable members at their registration centres,” he added.
