"The arrangement has done justice for the members of the party." says Senator Abdullahi Adamu

 

All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders have commended the party on arriving at an amicable solution on the zoning of leadership positions in the party.

Speaking to Politics9ja separately after the party’s stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja yesterday, the party leaders expressed happiness over the way an agreement was reached to solve the issue during the meeting.
Alhaji Baraje said the party members have demonstrated a sense of maturity in the conduct of the affairs of the party especially on the adoption of zoning which will give all the sections of the country a sense of belonging.

Baraje said he will be the happiest person to see the party succeed in all its activities in order to make adequate preparations to confront and defeat the PDP in 2015 general election.
Senator Kabiru Gaya also commended Governor Aliyu Wamakko for his commitment on his responsibilities as the chairman of the convention committee which according to him has proven to be a good team leader.
In his comment, Engineer Buba Galadima said though there is no way all will be satisfied with the arrangement, the party has been fair in the zoning arrangement which has been reflected in the distribution of the posts.
Senator Abdullahi Adamu also said the arrangement has done justice for the members of the party. He called on the members of the party who felt otherwise to sacrifice their ambition for the progress of the party.
Prince Abubakar Audu on his part said the party had taken another positive step and in the right direction.
Rep. Kawu Sumaila also said the party had by this decision proved its resolve to accommodate varying views in order to give a chance to all its members to make their contributions and to have a say in the affairs of the party.
