“We had called for his resignation and or impeachment times and over before now" says SASM

The Save Adamawa State Movement (SASM) has described the impeachment notice served on Governor Murtala Nyako by the State House of Assembly as a welcome development.
The Movement in a press statement issued in Abuja noted that all the facts adduced by the legislators are key issues members of the issues it has been raising on the governor for about two years now.

Acting national coordinator of the group, Dr. Pally Poga said his group had resorted to court action to let the whole world know of Nyako’s misrule.
“We had called for his resignation and or impeachment times and over before now. Now that the gross maladministration, overbearing family and friends governance have weigh heavily on the citizens, we applaud the bold steps taken by the members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly.”
He commended the legislators in carrying out what he described as a noble cause and therefore urged the members of the House of Assembly to remain focused and resolute to the course of salvaging the already battered state.
