Last month the state commissioner of agriculture, Alhaji Malami Aliyu Yandoto, resigned his appointment as member of the State Executive Council and joined the PDP. Sources told Daily Trust that more serving commissioners are considering dumping the ruling APC for the opposition PDP in the state.
The three directors general who made copies of their resignation letters available to newsmen in Gusau, said they decamped to the opposition PDP after losing confidence in the leadership of Yari and his party APC.
Bukkuyum said for the past three years he had no schedule and was left roaming the street as DG adding that he could not do anything even when there were high expectations from the electorate.
While Yanware explained that his advice has not for once been considered saying it has rendered him a ‘ceremonial political appointee.’
