Gbadamosi, a native of Ikorodu affirmed that a single man would not continue to determine the future of the state forever.
The governorship hopeful, who made this declaration while addressing newsmen in Abuja on Sunday warned journalists against being used to promote mediocrity.
“There is a very serious infrastructure deficit in Lagos and we have never experienced the type of gridlock we are experiencing in the state now.
“You can spend six hours from Ibeju Lekki to Ojo or Agege. So, where are the projects
we hear in the news? Most of the projects are just maintenance of what have been on the ground for decades because no new routes have been opened in the past 16 years.
“This is the first time we would experience such. Lagos was established in 1967 and between then, Lagos-Ikorodu Road was expanded and later Lagos -Ibadan Expressway was built and the Third Mainland Bridge was also built.
“I know that Lagos deserves better than what it is getting now. Things have been worse in the last 10 years.
“It looks like the Lekki -Epe concession company did not put down any kobo and yet it is milking people dry.”
The politicians, however called on public office holders and other leaders to live by example by withdrawing their children from private schools and enrol them in public schools.
