Orji Kalu, a former Governor of Abia State and a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who endorsed Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State, a governor on the platform of the APC for second term, has again endorses Ekiti state governor, Governor Kayode Fayemi under APC platform also for second term, saying, the commitment and dedication to duty shown by Fayemi had made it possible for him to record the feat. Kalu, who has being on tour of the country to preach national unity, said he has been greatly impressed by the level of development going on in the South West which is mainly controlled by the APC and with that, he could see APC winning again. “ I am sure the PDP would battle Governor Fayemi in the election but the governor will win” Kalu added.
However, Gov Kalu Orji also advocated a two-party system saying that this would further strengthen democracy in the nation.
He also called on the people of Ekiti to rally round Fayemi and support him.
