APC :upheld the result of all of all congress in katsina

 

The All Progressives Congress yesterday upheld the results of all the congresses held in Katsina State.
Receiving a delegation from the state at the party’s secretariat  under the aegis of “Coalition of Elected Ward Executives and Delegates” the interim national secretary of the party, Tijjani Musa Tumsah, commended the delegation for the peaceful conduct of the congresses.

He assured them that the party secretariat is satisfied with the conduct and the results of the congresses in Katsina state.

Tumsah however informed them that, the committee which conducted the earlier congress has been replaced with a new one and has been charged to look at all the challenges faced during the conduct of the congresses.
Responding, leader of the delegation who is also the chairman of the group, Muhammad Auwal Al-Karama Funtua , said the delegation visited the secretariat to intimate the national leadership on the purported move by some party officials to persuade it to cancel the results of the congress conducted in the state.
He maintained that the congresses were held in the presence of the INEC, the Police and other security agencies saying they all have copies of the results and reports of the exercise.
Karama advised the party leadership to avoid the stakeholders from the state saying they are only out to use their positions to confusion.
“It is clear from the ward congresses so far conducted that they are not on ground in their various constituencies and senatorial districts,” he said.
