Dankwambo gets support from his group

A political group in Gombe State, Talba Neighbour to Neighbour organisation, has organised a rally to garner support for Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo for his re-election bid come 2015.

Speaking during the occasion, Governor Dankwambo lauded the organisation for its efforts and programmes so far, pledging his support for its members.

“This organisation in my understanding, based on the explanation by the chairman, Alhaji Bala Tinka, is an association that is out to help the masses and advertise, enlighten and educate the good people of Gombe on the good work and political mission of the governor of Gombe State in all ways.
 “Such organisation in Gombe and its likes are those that governments at all levels are happy with at all times. I will also call on the people to support the mission and aspirations of such organisations,” he said.
Earlier, chairman of the group Bala Tinka said the governor’s achievements in all sectors of the state economy in the last three years informed the formation of the organisation to promote, advertise, enlighten and disseminate the achievements of the Dankwambo administration.
He said Dankwambo’s achievements have contributed to the peaceful coexistence among the various ethnic groups in the state which made Gombe the most peaceful state in the North East region.
Vehicles, sewing machines, bicycle and financial assistance were given to some beneficiaries at the occasion.
