My husband is not jittery over election - Wife

                         

Wife of Ekiti State governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, yesterday declared that the consistent campaign by her husband is because he does not want to leave any voter behind and not that  he is jittery over the coming elections.

She said her husband’s achievements would pave the way for him to defeat other candidates in the June 21 governorship election in the state.
Mrs Fayemi while addressing a crowd of supporters at Iye Ekiti in Ilejemeje Local Government Area of the state during one of its market centres campaign rallies

, boasted that her husband is running on track records of solid achievements unlike the other candidates.
“I am 100 percent sure that my husband will defeat other candidates in this election. He will win hands down because he is running on a solid track records. Our consistent canvass for votes is not that we are jittery but to ensure that no voter is left behind. We have to sensitize our people and increase the advocacy for voters’ education to prevent apathy,” she said.
She advised women to troop out en masse and vote for her husband on the day of the election and stay around to monitor the counting of votes to avoid rigging.
She added: “Members of opposition are threatening that they will bombard the state with soldiers, police and other security agencies to scare the people from voting. This is a blatant lie and you have to discountenance such.
She said Dr. Fayemi has not been exhibiting desperation for his re-election bid because he knows the people of the state are proud of his achievements and have been supporting him.
