We’ll ensure Jonathan remains focused - Gen Airhiavbere

National coordinator of Goodluck to Goodluck (G2G 2015),  project,   Major General Charles Airhiavbere  (rtd)   has said  that no amount of distraction  or intimidation
can stop  Presidentl Goodluck Jonathan from  seeking re- election in 2015.
General Airhiavbere stated this in Benin, when he hosted 4,500   ex- militants from among the Ijaw community who visited him at the G2G state secretariat in Benin.
He said President Jonathan needs the support of every Nigerian to continue the good work he is doing for the country and  appealed to PDP leaders not to be distracted by the activities of Boko Haram in the country.
He said: “Nigeria  will not collapse under Jonathan, nothing will stop Jonathan, God has ordained him and no going back on our mandate which is to return Jonathan in 2015, he is a moving train  and will crush any obstacle on the way.”
Secretary, Ijaw National Congress, Benin chapter, Rev. Wotu Seigha Elijah led the  Ijaw community  to take an oath aimed at defending Jonathan’s  re- election bid. While invoking the spirit of Egbesu  , the Ijaw leader  said they would have taken the battle to Borno State  to engage  Boko Haram in  a battle to free the abducted  Chibok  girls but were prevented by President Jonathan from doing so to avoid  further bloodshed.
