A member of the House of Representatives from Kaduna State, Shamsuddeen Ango Abdullahi, will tomorrow formally declare to contest for the governorship seat in the state under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Shamsuddeen who represents Giwa/Birnin Gwari Federal Constituency of the state said in a statement yesterday that he is joining the race to better the lot the Kaduna people.
The lawmaker who was a commissioner in the state said he is coming to the contest with “unquantifiable affection for the masses having taken lots of positive steps to better the lots of the people of his constituency and beyond.”
He said his formal declaration which will take place in Kaduna marks the beginning of a new dawn for positive development in the state, especially now that the state needs change, peace and development.
The lawmaker is joining his colleague, Rep Mohammed Ashiru Kudan and former FCT minister Nasir el-Rufai, to fight for the APC governorship ticket in Kaduna State.
