Benue Attorney -General, 2 others join guber race

Benue State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Alex Adum, has joined the race for the governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
His declaration coincided with the public
outing of the Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, (FMC), Makurdi, Dr. Mathias Oyigeya and the immediate past Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Pensions Board, Prince Andy Uwouku.
Speaking separately at the PDP’s secretariat on Tuesday, the three aspirants reeled out their programmes to transform the state if voted into power in the forthcoming election.
Responding, state vice chairman of the party, Joseph Nyam who received the aspirants on behalf of the chairman, Dr. Emmanuel Agbo, urged  the gubernatorial hopefuls to desist from campaigns of calumny and character assassination while assuring a level playing ground for all aspirants.
