Fayose commended over choice of running mate

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, has described Dr. Kolapo Olubunmi Olusola’s choice as running mate to the candidate of the party in the coming election, Mr. Ayo Fayose,  as  apt.

In a statement by the party in Ado Ekiti on Thursday, it described Olusola

, as a “good party man” from Ikere Ekiti saying  he is round peg in a round hole.
The state chapter of the party in a statement by its chairman, Makanjuola Ogundipe; secretary, Dr. Tope Aluko and publicity secretary, Pastor Kola Oluwawole, lauded the National Working Committee (NWC) saying it deserves commendation for “ensuring and maintaining order in the selection process.”
The party said its state working committee (SWC) also deserved commendation for the selection, saying all party leaders, elders and members should be congratulated for “a proper conduct of the process.”
The PDP charged members of the party in the state to maintain peace, shun distraction from the “drowning ruling party and further close ranks and join hands with our candidate, Dr. Ayò Fayose, in this march towards winning the June 21 governorship election.”
