Katsina APC: ‘Calls for cancellation of ward congress

The forum of elected ward executive council members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State has described the call for cancellation of the party’s recently conducted ward congresses as self serving and ill-intended.
Chairman of the forum, Sade Gambo, who spoke to newsmen yesterday in Katsina, urged the national leadership of the party to disregard such calls, insisting that the exercise was conducted in accordance with the party’s guidelines.

Kwankwaso, Shekarau test popularity with Kano LG polls

                                                                                                                                                         Tomorrow’s local government election in Kano State is seen as a litmus test in the battle of political supremacy between Governor Rabi’u Kwankwaso and Malam Ibrahim Shekarau.
The duo of Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso and Malam Ibrahim Shekarau are the icons of the two major political parties that have fielded candidates for Saturday’s local government elections in Kano State.
