Ekiti State election was "marred by irregularities" says Aregbesola

Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State has stated that the just concluded governorship election in Ekiti State was marred by irregularities.
The governor noted that the All Progressives Congress lost to the PDP due to fraud but argued that it would be impossible to rig him out of office in the August 9, 2014 governorship election in Osun.
The governor spoke in Ikirun on Tuesday during the continuation of his campaign which was held in the town.

Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has cautioned the state governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the August election, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, to stop disparaging him.

Director of media and strategy for Senator Omisore’s campaign team, Prince Diran Odeyemi, gave the advice in a statement in Osogbo.
